Health Digital Transformation Through the Implementation of Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

With the issuance of Minister of Health Regulation (PMK) number 24 of 2022 concerning Medical Records, patient manual Medical Records will begin to switch to electronic-based. Through this policy, health service facilities (Fasyankes) are required to run an electronic patient medical history recording system. The transition process is carried out until December 31, 2023 at the latest. This policy is present as an update to support the implementation of health technology transformation which is part of the 6th pillar of Health Transformation in Indonesia. With this digitalization, it can maximize existing human resources, by being able to process data to get insights and predictive capabilities from all data that can be accessed. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and the Indonesian Hospital Association (PERSI) collaborate in accelerate digital transformation in the hospital sector, collaborating with technology partners will hold the Launch of e-Book Digital Transformation in Hospital at One Day Seminar: ‘Health Digital Transformation through the Implementation of Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)". This Seminar is expected to help and answer many questions from Hospital Leaders, Hospital Directors and Hospital Management related to integrated SIMRS and RME in hospitals that should be implemented December 2023.
